Thank God It’s Yoga and her teachers introduce to you: a Gentle and Self Development yoga weekend retreat! Dive deep into this feeling for a whole weekend – and take it with you when you go home. Yoga is the new healthy lifestyle that will help you make the best start you can imagine in 2020, because you will carry the power with you throughout the new year!

This is a yoga retreat where two of our best teachers will give you an immersion into gentle hatha, yoga therapy, yin-yang and more. Go back to basics and deepen your yoga practice from a down-to-earth approach. And there is more than just yoga: enjoy the swimming pool, wellness, fresh vegetarian food and great company. All is included so you don’t have to worry about anything – just surrender and trust the journey.

Benjamin has always loved to move – as a child, he would never sit quietly, and dance became his passion. Later, he learned to find stillness in the small things. When he stepped onto the yoga mat for the first time, he found the answers to questions he didn’t know he had. He decided to do a 3-year Hatha Yoga teacher training and also specialised in yoga for children.

Yoga became his new healthy lifestyle, helping him to find control over body, breath and mind. He still cannot sit still, so his yoga classes are always dynamic. In a gentle way, he will take you on a journey in a meditative dance. You will learn to get down to earth, discover your own power, and to be free like a bird.

Lana loves to share the wisdom of yoga with you in her classes. For her, yoga is a personal exploration that helps to discover who you really are. She got in touch with yoga when she was a teenager, and in the beginning, it was a way to connect with her body with more kindness. Over time, she noticed that yoga also had a deepening effect at the mental and emotional level. She learned even more about yoga philosophy when she travelled in India and Nepal – a whole new world opened up for her. Thus, yoga became more and more intertwined with her life.

In her classes, Lana is integrating breath, movement and positive intentions into a holistic practice. The classes are accessible for all levels and there is space for personal attention. In this way, Lana guides you through the development of your own yoga practice.

Irisis integrating yoga in all aspects of her life. She has a background in psychology, but it was only when she started with yoga that she learned about the inseparable connection between body and mind. When she travelled to Hawaii, Iris experienced the unique energy of the islands in the ocean. That was the moment she started to live her passion.

Iris can teach you how to listen to the language of your body. In her classes, she emphasises the breath, alignment and mindfulness. This will help you to release blockages and to create space in body and mind. She will also share the ‘Spirit of Aloha’ with you.

Larissa started with aerial yoga from her fascination with the tranquility and awareness of yoga. For her, yoga is not only about movement and relaxation in the body, but also about really taking time for yourself.

Yoga teaches you to swing back and forth at the rhythm of life, and to do this from a steady foundation. This steady foundation is you, yourself! Through the practice of yoga and finding stillness, you can strengthen that foundation. Larissa loves to teach you how to move through the waves of your life in an active and playful way!
